The Telluride Gallery of Fine Art is pleased to present “Emergence,” an exhibition featuring two gallery artists: Malcolm Liepke & Shawna Moore in the North Gallery and “Bloom,” featuring the work of Dana Flores and Dan McCleary in the South Gallery. The exhibitions are on view starting with Telluride’s Arts’ Art Walk  Thursday, March 3, 2022, 5 – 8pm. The show will remain up through the month.

The Telluride Gallery of Fine Art is pleased to present “Old Friends: Tony Berlant and James Hayward,” opening Thursday, December 16, 2021; closing Sunday, January 23, 2022. The exhibition will be on view during two of Telluride’s  Arts’ Art Walk evenings: Thursday, December 16, 2021 and Thursday, January 6, 2022, 5 – 8pm. Tragedy, conflict, resolve, defiance: they’re all on display in ‘Then and Now,’ a group exhibit at the Telluride Gallery that employs photos and art works to reflect on the civil rights movement, intergenerational struggle, and themes of social justice, identity, and belonging.

Telluride Gallery: Trunk Show Featuring Studio Jeweler Todd Pownell

Todd has shown at the Telluride Gallery since 2012. For his trunk show the metal artist is bringing a selection of rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets to town.

Elizabeth Garvin has shown with the Telluride Gallery of Fine Art since 2014. This will be her very first visit to town. The metal artist will be showing some of her well-known, well-loved designs, as well as  items from her newest collection.

He’s been hailed as “one of the most productive and experimental artists of the last half-century,” but to the owner of the Telluride Gallery of Fine Art, Ed Moses was something more: He was a family friend. Moses founded the Cool School, a group of seminal Los Angeles creatives, many of whom were represented by the Southland’s Ferus Gallery in the 1950s and 1960s. Other members of the Cool School included Ed Ruscha, Robert Irwin, Larry Bell, Edward Kiehholz, John Altoon, Ken Price and Billy Al Bengston.
